This show is affiliated with WHOA (Walking Horse Owners Association) and will abide by their rulebook. The Phoenix is also affiliated with the WHTA Riders' Cup Program, TWHBEA High Point, and Kentucky Breeders' Incentive Fund, and the Kentucky Walking Horse Association. THE PHOENIX is also a WHOA Triple Crown show for 2025.

ARRIVALS

Horses may arrive on Sunday, March 16. Due to liability reasons, NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO RIDE ON THE GROUNDS ON SUNDAY. Riding may commence on Monday, as it is our set up day.

COGGINS TESTS

Please have your Coggins test available with registration number and name on the test.

STALL RESERVATIONS

STALL RESERVATION DEADLINE - MARCH 4, 2025

Stalls may be reserved by calling or texting Jennifer at 931.205.3493 or email thephoenixhorseshow@gmail.com. Please include arrival and departure dates along with your contact information.

TRAILER DROP OFF - Once unloaded, trailers may be dropped off Walt Robertson Rd. just past Alltec Arena on the left. Please do not park in barn aisle unless loading and unloading. KHP Mounted Patrol will tow your vehicle if parked in any grass, as well.

TRAILERING IN TO SHOW? Click here to download the Trailer In form. There is a $60 per day/per horse fee. Please be aware trailering in you must park in designated area. It will be marked for show days.

ENTRY DEADLINE - MARCH 4, 2025

THE PREMIERE ENTRY DEADLINE - FEBRUARY 19, 2025

Only online entries will be accepted. To enter your horse for competition, please CLICK HERE to visit horseshowsonline.com. Not a member? Sign up for a free account, click Upcoming Shows and search The Phoenix; there you can enter your horses.

Scratches may be made until noon each day of the show for horses entered prior to March 4 deadline. A $10 scratch/add fee applies after March 4. Any horses not entered into a class by the March 4 deadline will incur an upcharge.

You must show in a qualifying class to participate in the Best in Show and stake classes. Championship and Best in Show classes may be entered until 10:30AM on Saturday, March 22.

ALL PARTICIPANTS IN RAIL CLASSES MUST BE WHOA MEMBERS. We urge you to sign up for your WHOA membership prior to show by clicking here to visit WHOA's Membership page.

***Entry fees for The Premiere will be billed following the close of Premiere entries.*** The Premiere is a separate entity from The Phoenix. Monies raised for The Premiere stay with The Premiere.

THE PREMIERE

It's baaaack...The Phoenix is proud to serve as the host show for THE PREMIERE, a debut three-year-old trail pleasure competition. With splits falling on Wednesday evening, it's sure to be an exciting series leading up to THE PREMIERE final on Saturday at 4:00PM. EQUITATION & SHOWMANSHIP

Equitation and Showmanship patterns available March 2025!

All equitation classes will be specialty to encourage everyone to try something different at The Phoenix. Youth, don't miss out on the TWHBEA Medallion class for your chance to shine in canter/loping.

BE IN THE KNOW There is a leash law in effect for KHP.

PARKING

PARKING IS FREE FOR THE PHOENIX 2025! With multiple events at KHP, you MUST DISPLAY your parking pass in your window while on grounds.

DO NOT PARK IN THE GRASS ANYWHERE ON KHP GROUNDS OR YOU WILL BE TOWED.

DO NOT BLOCK BARN AISLE...after unloading, trucks/trailers must be moved. You cannot park in the barn aisle, you will be towed.

CROWD FAVORITES

Crowd Favorites are back for 2025! Find your favorite team in the Double Rider class or the Pro/Am class...be sure to give 'er all you've got when the Decibel Meter reaches your team! The team with the loudest cheering section will be crowned CROWD FAVORITE and receive ribbon, recognition, an Equitech Saddle pad and braggin' rights.

NOVICE DIVISION

The Novice divisions at The Phoenix are defined as no blue ribbon at The International, The Celebration or The Pennyroyal.

CLASS CHANGES/SCHEDULE

There will be no further additions to the class sheet. Please note we may shift a class, if needed, for time's sake, but we will keep everyone posted with plenty of a heads-up! We will also allow time for habit changes, as well. We'll work with you, just let us know in advance.
